I very recently accompanied a friend to view, test and subsequently buy a 911 997 turbo from Chappel Sports cars. I’ve owned six 911s of various generations, from 964 through to 991, and I think I’m pretty familiar with their maintenance and quirks, I’ve also experienced varying degrees of customer service provided by official Porsche Centres and well-known independents. I have to say that I was really impressed with Keir Chapel’s knowledge of 911s, with the standard of presentation of my friend’s new 997 including the thorough servicing and detailing that was done and his really informative approach to handing over the car and briefing it’s new owner. While not a cheap purchasefar from it in fact I do believe my pal got value for money, including a warranty that looks comparable to that of an official Approved Used Porsche.
I recently bought my used Porsche Cayenne from Chappell Sports Cars - I’m absolutely delighted with the car which was immaculate and drives like new, but also with experience of dealing with Kier, the company owner. This purchase was a huge step for me, but from the first call I had with him, through the test drive, the purchase and even subsequently, Kier has been open, honest and helpful - a real delight to deal with and he made this a great experience rather than just a sales transaction!. I have been made to feel confident that buying my first Porsche was the right thing to do because I did it with a true specialist.
We've just purchased our first car from Chappell Sports Cars and cannot rate Kier & Steve highly enough. What a great, knowledgeable, trustworthy, respectful pair they are and what's more we're now delighted owners of an outstanding Porsche. We would not hesitate recommending them to either sell or purchase through - we'll be back next year! I bought my 911 from Kier over seven years ago and have been pleased with the car since. The car was exactly what I had wanted and properly described, it was one of the more expensive ones I had viewed but the premium was justified due to the after sales. The negotiation, handover etc were all good. As with most secondhand cars there were some minor issues but he resolved everything, I could not fault his approach and commitment. I have since bought other used cars from main dealers and not got that level of willingness to make sure you as the customer were satisfied. As and when I am ready for another I would not hesitate to buy from him.
I recently purchased my first Porsche 911 from Kier at Chappell Sports Cars. I travelled a fair way to view the car as I was quite particular with the spec I wanted. The car was presented in excellent condition and I pretty quickly decided it was the car for me. Kier's in depth knowledge of what I was buying and no pressure ' take your time' approach gave me the confidence that this was a company I would be happy to deal with. Other factors that helped me decide were the fact that Chappell Sports Cars own the cars they sell rather than selling customers cars on commission and the fact that a comprehensive 2year warranty is included in the price. Having had the car now for 6 very enjoyable weeks I have booked it into my local Porsche main dealer for a couple of very minor bits. When I spoke to Kier about this he immediately said he would pick up the bill and to keep him informed as to how the car was in the future. This kind of after sales service and reassurance means that if I do upgrade to a 911 turbo in the future I know exactly where I will buy from.
I bought my first Porsche from the guys at Chappell Sports Cars this week and I can explain how impressed I have been! from opening up on a Sunday to accommodate me for a test drive Thanks Steve to going through even the smallest of details upon collection. Everything has been thought of and nothing is too much trouble. Kier is exceptionally knowledgeable and inspires confidence from the minute you meet him, its exactly how buying a car should be. I recently bought my first Porsche from Chappell Sports Cars after doing months of research and having contact with my local Porsche dealership who I personally found slow to deal with my requirements and enquiries. To be honest I found Chappell Cars more attentive and a better service than Porsche. Kier was very honest, patient and generous with the time that he gave me and made such a big purchase a relaxing and exciting experience. My calls and emails were dealt with swiftly and nothing was too much hassle. A very delightful and personal service with excellent knowledge and high level of customer service as you would want and expect. The showroom at Chappell is Porsche heaven with stunning cars must visit!. I purchased a 3.4S Cayman black edition which is beautiful and exactly as described, in fact when I went to my local Porsche dealership to purchase an accessory the sales staff came out to look at it and congratulated me on what a super car it is! It was reassuring that they know of Chappell Cars and spoke highly of their service. In terms of aftercare, I have received the same attentive service that I received before I made the purchase. I would like to thank Chappell Cars for my car and excellent customer service and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends or my business clients...
I recently purchased my first Porsche from Chappell Sports Cars. I found Kier extremely open and easy to deal with. Not only did Chappell's make sure that the car was in the best possible condition when it was sold, they have also followed up on all of their promises and I have had exemplary after sales service. They have resolved every minor issue that I have had with the car with no questions asked. I would definitely recommend.
Easily the best car buying experiences I have had. I began with a Carrera 4S, at which point I instantly trusted his honesty and passion about what he was selling. Since then I've recommended him many times, and subsequently returned last year to purchase an outstanding Turbo S from Kier. Simply can't recommend Chappell enough. Thank you for everything, Harry
Fantastic Dealership. I have known Kier at Chappell Sports cars for several years and have purchased not one but three cars from Kier in the time that I have known him. Kier and his team strive for complete customer satisfaction. They have a wealth of knowledge, particularly the Porsche marque and the whole buying experience and presentation of the vehicle on collection has been nothing short of excellent on every occasion. Even when I had a problem with my car, I made just one phone call and Kier arranged for rectification of the problem with no fuss or issue in a speedy manner. In my opinion, there are many main dealers who fall short of this sort of level of service and I would highly recommend Chappell Sports Cars to anyone.
