A quirky little station though not fully accessible it is cute little station full of unique signage from various transport authorities. Shame they couldn't donate a step free exit though.
Handforth rail station is small but well kept with fun decorations such as a flower cart on a railway as well as various languages of the station name. It is worth to have a short walk there in your leisure time.
Lovely station BUT there is no ramp or lift, so it's impossible with a pram if you travel alone : Luckily people are lovely and gave us a hand on the numerous stairs which lead up from the station to town.
Not at all accessible for wheelchairs or prams. Only access is via a very steep flight of stairs. Unbelievable that it can be allowed to be this way in 2022.
Good little train station that makes it very handy to get into central Manchester. Tickets can be bought on either the train or at the ticket booth at the top of the station. Staff are friendly and help you get the cheapest journey.
