Very good night time economy but the shopping streets are not as good as they once were. Area around the Market House is thriving.
I've lived in altrincham for most of my life and over the years things have been going downhill but recently the overall plan to revamp the area it's given altrincham a new least of life again but the town centre has also had some improvements like the centre of altrincham itself has been updated with a very pleasant atmosphere and a much needed injection of money has been put into the high street which to be honest was a much needed revamp it's not been fully completed yet but u can see the light at the end of the tunnel now and I am very Impressive indeed a new restaurant is being opened in the bottom section on Stamford new road across from the bus station while it's looks amazing only time will tell as I feel we have a lot of restaurant already but I am willing to give it a change
Great little station since they refurbished. Shame you can’t collect prepaid rail tickets here, meaning you have to pay £6 for delivery.
Very good connectivity with Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire. The building itself is amazing!
