Bought a Skoda Fabia Mk2 diesel as a second family car. I'm very happy with the friendly service provided and the car itself, which after a month or so is proving to be a cracking little runaround. Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again.
Not impressed. Went to view a Volvo and the ad was totally misleading, the interior was disgusting and falling apart but neatly photographed to hide this and no mention in the description. Also asked for the engine to be cold when we arrived, the dealer handed me the keys and said it was cold but when we open the bonnet it was clearly very hot and up to temperature. I don't know how they have so many good reviews, seems like everything shady and dishonest you'd expect from a stereotypical car dealership.
Amazing service! Purchased a vehicle from Martin long distance after a few phone calls and a video walk around of the vehicle a deal was made with my current car in part exchange. I cannot speak enough about Hambrook Cats. They went above and beyond to be helpful and accomodating. Dave showed me round the car I was interested in, and I took it for a test drive and was happy with it. Dave showed me all the paperwork, and explained everything clearly. He also offered me a very fair price on my existing car. I will certainly visit again when the time is right to upgrade my car again.
Would highly recommend, a fantastic team. Martin, Dave and Gareth were so friendly and helpful. They sold my late father's car for me and got hold of a car that I wanted. Which I love! This is definitely the place to go if you're looking for a quality second hand car. Martin and the team are very friendly and professional. Went to view the car on Sunday and decided to go ahead with the purchase , Martin had the car ready for me to collect on the Tuesday , all spotlessly valeted and a fresh MOT with no advisories. Absolutely impeccable service! Martin is lovely, went out of his way to help me in any way that could. He talked me through all concerns that I had and really listened to me when I explained my situation and what I was looking for in a vehicle! He was so kind and considerate and even offered to let me have use of a small car until mine was ready for collection! The after care they have to offer is also fantastic! We had a great experience buying a used MINI from Martin at Hambrook Cars. Lovely guy, very genuine and easy to deal with. We test drove the car alone which was refreshing and allowed us a chance to really examine the car. There were a couple of issues, one of which he was already aware of and told us about before our test drive, and another which we discovered, but both were sorted out for us in the shortest possible time before we returned to collect the car. Martin was very accomodating and met us out of hours so we could get the car at a time convenient to us. Highly recommended, thanks!
I have been very pleased buying my first car here and would recommend this place to anyone. Martin was extremely nice and we had the opportunity to directly get the keys for more than an hour to test the car on our own and check everything which ended up in buying it at a very good price. One of the two daylights bulbs was missing and it got replaced for free before picking up the car. And the aftersales service is great too, I had a few questions on the car and Martin was very helpful answering my questions. The battery in the car was pretty old and it has been kindly replaced with a new one for free with a delivery service on top of that! Very happy about the MX5, thanks a lot Martin!
The best car buying experience I’ve ever had! After a few months of looking online for the right car at the price I wanted, I contacted Martin at Hambrook Cars who made an appointment for us the very next day. He was more than willing to let me and my wife take the car for a test drive on our own so we could really get a feel for the car and have a good look around it, without having the pressure of the salesman in the car with you, which we have experienced before when faults with the car were trying to be concealed. Once we decided to purchase it, Martin went through the process right away and sorted out a competitive finance deal for us, along with paying for our first year of road tax to sweeten the deal. We drove the car away the next day, without any issues throughout the whole buying process. I would highly recommend Hambrook Cars if you are looking for a good quality, smaller car, at a great price! Thank you Martin!
