Bought a roof box from Halfords in Friern Barnet today. Genuinely loved the atmosphere in the shop and the staff were all kind and supportive. They all seemed to genuinely care that you got the help you needed and were happy with your purchase.nnSam, my fitter, was particularly great. He went above and beyond to ensure that my roof box was fitted correctly, including adjusting the roof bar fittings that I'd done myself, as he wanted them to be perfect.nnSam also made sure I understood all of the adjustments he was making, so that I could do it on my own next time. He was incredibly helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed our chat about our shared love of building Lego with our sons, reminiscing over past favourite sets.
Friendly staff. Except for the main mechanic Mike, which knows his stuff, but he is ice-cold service.nTaken bike to repair first estimate was a sliver service £70 if any change they will call for approval.nJust before agreed , the main bike mechanic came over and said it be £140 as he see extra part needed to replace. So In the end, i gave approval even though it was an old bike.nThey say they start work on the coming Friday. They call if there are any issues.n3 days later, they say bike ready. I told them I going hoilday probably a week I be back.nSlightly over a week, ice cold mike mechanic calls me and says we have to tell you there is going to be £5 storage charge per day.nReally for a bike.nnIn receiving the bike I was very disappointed. The bill comes up to £155.99.nnSilver silver and the bike is return dirty. Not even clean up the parts.
Outstanding. I arrived five minutes before the store was due to close and not only did Sam find the oil my car had suddenly indicated was urgently needed, he came out, checked the levels electronically then topped it up. He rechecked and was friendly and informative throughout. A brilliant employee and service you hope for but don’t often get anywhere these days.
What an absolute asset Sam is to the company. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. He went above and beyond. I have recommended him and the branch to family and friends already. So refreshing to have such excellent customer service. Even my little dog was a fan.
Was buying some camping equipment few days ago, and got a conflicting recommendation from the staff regarding matching gas cylinders. Also, today, I was trying to get the car washing bundle for £25 but didn't work out at the till and the staff didn't bother to help. Went to get the same bundle from Borehamwood branch, a total different attitude and an as expected customer service. I even asked how to do a review for such a delightful service.
