What a lovely village pub serving amazing food. Ordered starters and main course. Service was excellent , the food was so nice and would recommend. Outdoor area is great with amazing views and dog friendly . 2 starters 2 main and a bottle of wine £50.
A lovely pub. Friendly staff. Food - generous portions and we felt good value for money. Would recommend their Yorkshire puddings. A complete Sunday lunch on a Wednesday . I had the pork option - included roast and mash potatoes; peas, carrots, leeks, several slices of pork and lashings of gravy.
Came here with family...First time for food and was pleasantly surprised. Classic pub meals ...all homemade and tasty. Good service from some very courteous bar staff. Nice cosy pub and some popular quiz and themed nights. Parmo Chicken night is apparently next on the calendar

Delicious food with a good choice on the lunch menu. Good value too with main courses around £8.95 - £9.95. I enjoyed an enormous Yorkshire pudding with mince and a selection of vegetables. The gravy was outstanding! A lovely, inviting interior to the pub; looks like it's recently been refurbished. Staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Dog enjoyed himself too! Will definitely be visiting again next time we travel this way. Thank you.

Had a fantastic meal out with the family at the Half Moon in Skidby. The staff were friendly and the service was great, the place had a good atmosphere, the food was great and the price was pretty reasonable.
Lovely food, the prawn starter was brilliant. All staff were helpful and attentive. Well done! Sadly the family of 6 next to us evidently had a genetic hearing problem and shouted to each other constantly for the hour they spent sitting next to us.
Very recently my partner and I went for a meal here, we turned up nearly five minutes late and the person who met us on arrival was very rude because we were late, but I passed that off because I was so looking forward to the meal as I know how beautiful the food has been when have eaten here, the waiter said we could have a dessert if the chef hasn't gone home.... My partner did manage to get a pudding, two spoon fulls into his chocolate sponge he pulled out of his mouth a sharp piece of plastic, I took it back and I got a sorry, if this had being a child then they could of chocked or cut their mouth, it wasn't taken of the price of the bill. I looked forward to going here all week but it is safe to say we won't be returning in a hurry. So disappointing.
Had a lovely meal last night at Half Moon, Skidby. Food was well-cooked, hot, tasty and well presented. Great staff too! Looking forward to this being our new local. Thank you
