One of Dun Laoghaire’s oldest townhouses, Haddington House is a Grade II-listed building spread over four houses and five floors. An independent hotel, it boasts 50 en-suite bedrooms, award-winning restaurant Oliveto, two refurbished function spaces, and a unique garden, all overlooking Dublin Bay.
The original tenants were British Naval officers in the mid-1800s sent by Queen Victoria to manage the empire's naval affairs. A ladies finishing school followed in the late-1890s (called Haddington House) before the conversion into separate hotels from the 1950s.
In 2015, the team behind Oliveto took over the hotel with the firm intention to unify the four townhouses back under the original name of Haddington House. We hope to see you soon.
