Plenty of free parking and a paid for electric charging point. Great location for visiting the city as bus is across the road. Staff were friendly and engaging. Room was very comfortable and had 2 armchairs which many more upmarket hotels don't have. Tea and Coffee making facilities in the room. There was a safe and plenty of clothes hangers. Hotel needs a make over but was very clean and what it lacked in decor was made up by comfort, staff and good food. Bar food was very good and portions large.. The only quibble was the Marie rose sauce and tartar sauce were very poor. Breakfast was great. Lovely hot food freshly cooked and hot plates! Even the pastries were warm. Plenty fruit and yoghurt, cereals etc. Will be back
Lovely staff, great food. Have attended family and corporate events in this hotel over the years. Aways well run. Easy to access from N11 and plenty of parking. Also great access and provision for people with disabilities
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the level of service I received during my recent stay. My experience was far below the standard I expected and severely impacted my comfort and overall impression of your establishment.nnAt 23:50hrs I was abruptly awoken by maintenance work being conducted in your function room. This late-night disturbance was wholly unacceptable and caused significant inconvenience. Despite reporting this issue to your night staff, their response was dismissive and unhelpful.nnTo make matters worse, when I attempted to follow up, I received no acknowledgment or meaningful response from your management team. The lack of communication and resolution demonstrated a clear disregard for guest satisfaction and professionalism.nnGiven the circumstances, I am highly disappointed with my stay and cannot see myself returning to your hotel in the future. As a paying guest, I expected a peaceful environment and a competent response to any issues, neither of which was provided.nnI trust you will take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests. I would appreciate a formal response to this complaint, including an explanation of what occurred and what measures will be taken to ensure this does not happen again.nnAdditionally, I believe a gesture of goodwill is appropriate to acknowledge the distress caused by this incident.nnI look forward to hearing from you promptly. Great location. We stayed in room 169. It was so spacious and has beautiful decor. The shower water pressure is very low but the bathroom is stunning. The staff are friendly and obliging. We had afternoon tea and it was superb.
Overall if say it was good stay with a few issues.nnThe accessible parking spaces are laid out so that the drivers door is against a wall. This is difficult when the driver has mobility issues. The solution to this is to do a u-turn and go the wrong way through one way system so that the drivers door faces the other side.nnApparently the room card key doesn't accept a late stay so we were locked out of our room and had to have the keys reprogrammed. This is normally fine but when you have mobility issues room was accessible it's not ideal.nnI could comfortably fit my hand through the gap underneath the room door. Again, not ideal. However, we heard a great argument in the corridor.nnFrom an accessible perspective the floors aren't ideal. Lots of jumps and bumps. In the breakfast area there are lots of gaps in the floor.nnThe staff were friendly and did their best. I'd most likely stay again knowing in advance that there are some issues.
