We loved the Ferry House!! My mom, sister and I visited Ireland for the first time and stayed in the Ferry House. We loved it! Not only was the service great, the breakfast was phenomenal, and the Teehan's were always incredibly accommodating. They made our stay in Ireland amazing, and gave us a wonderful place to come home to each night.
The hosts are very nice. The breakfast is good. The location is close to the train station and easy ride into Dublin. Feels nice to be a little bit outside of the city hustle and bustle.
I spent 4 nights here , and happy to say that , down to earth Irish hospitality is alive and well and in ferry house B and B . The family that run this business make you feel at home and relaxed as sun as you come through the door .The Georgian building is easy to find and minute to water front , a beautiful park and wonderful restaurant . it has easy access to and from city centre and Dublins coastal villages .
Sheets smelt of detergent, bed was too soft, windows were single glazed near a busy road. If you are looking for an early start or an early sleep this is not the place. Owner was very friendly and accommodating, he really did his best to make us comfortable with the available facilities.
Do not hesitate to say with Pauline! She and her husband are fantastic and will do everything to make you feel right at home. The dart train station is right around the corner from the place which makes getting into Dublin super easy.
Very clean and well presented house. Rooms are very clean and more than adequate. Breakfast was superb, would definitely recommend and I look forward to returning for more visits.
We were not told we needed to put a parking permit on so a month later we got a £30 parking ticket which landlady said she would "sort"..but didn't ….so room cost over £100 Also, and it is not the very helpful hosts.. Pauline and Eamomn’s fault but the room in front nearest the road is noisy with a loose manhole cover in road clunking every time a car went over it Double bed more a queen size, the bathroom was a bit chilly the TV didn't work but friendly hosts and good breakfast
Excellent hospitality and in a great location. The host helped us out and made our last day in Ireland an absolute breeze by going above and beyond.
Made very welcome by the owners on arrival & throughout. Nice pleasant location close to local amenities & 5 mins walk from the sea front. Will book again.
Welcoming, comfortable, clean and warm with friendly attentive and knowledgeable owners and a first class breakfast. In a great central location. Highly recommend
