Fabulous local pub, excellent hosts with amazing customers  - best boozer in ryhope

I played this venue last night with my band Boys of Brass. The gaffers Julie and Keith made our job very easy, and whilst it was a private function, it was promoted by agreement between both parties and they pulled their weight unlike many other places. Good beers at decent rates. It's quite a big bar so there is enough seating plus there's a nice outdoor area too. The crowd were also enthusiastic which always helps! and the turnout was high. Check it out if you're passing.

The kind of pub where you can go in for 1 pint not knowing anybody and end up leaving 6 hours later with a bunch of great friends.

Our fave bar in Ryhope, great service, great drinks, love the place, some real characters get there also

Great pub and Great Landlady and Landlord with a great atmosphere at all times

Popped in late last year when City Of Liverpool where playing Ryhope in the FA Vase.  Cracking place, friendly people and the prices were a lot cheaper than Liverpool.  If I'm ever up this neck of the woods again will definitely come here again.

Been here very often very family friendly welcoming landlady and lord entertainment such as karaoke, live bands dominoes darts pool  ect... beautiful back garden with childrens facilities food is great too.

Great Pub good atmosphere and selection of beers.

We just had a fantastic night at the guide post! 80's music fab hosts Keith & Julie Dewart, would recommend for a no frills night out xx
