We attended breakfast with Santa at the hollymere pub today and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves so much. The breakfast was lovely then they received a present from Santa all for £5 this was amazing. The fun continued with a disco party with lots of fun and games, the kids enjoyed it that much I never saw them from start to finish. Thank you so much to the wond9sterful staff who worked really hard and all the brilliant entertainers.
Came for lunch. Ordered a club sandwich, food was quick to come out and tasted lovely. Huge compliments to the chefs. Bar staff very friendly and knowledgeable of the good served. Waiting staff polite and helpful asking if we needed anything else. Good atmosphere in the restaurant. Happy to come back again. Prices reasonable too Parking: Plenty of parking.
Took my grandson today for Breakfast with Santa, and kids disco, he had fantastic time, and so did everyone else, food was great and real value for money, staff were excellent, and very friendly and helpful, it's deff 5 stars from me
Been here today the food was absolutely great, the staff were amazing and friendly. The catered too 15 of us the food all came out at the same time and they were really quick the food was so nice and I can’t fault anything! They even catered the menu too the kids who didn’t like much and gave us loads of options. Thanks again
My wife and I go there on Saturdays as a date night, the new girl at the front of the house is brilliant, she attends to everyone with a lovely smile on her face and is very pleasant. The food is amazing and and portion sizes are great. Would recommend this place to anyone and probably will.
Me and my family visited yesterday to try out the new menu and safe to say we were all very pleased with the food, everything very well presented and staff very polite and professional.. Took my family here for tea. Nicole and Kayleigh were fantastic. They were so focussed on getting our order right and our experience positive that we could not ask for anymore from them. Wonderful attitude, excellent with our kids and so positive Thank you so much Rob and family
The food is almost as stunning as the staff. The place is rammed with pensioners which is the best sign of good value. Lager on fire. 10/10 would recommend.
Called here for lunch today, I haven't been for while and it will be long time before I return again. This place has gone down hill massively since my last visit, need to sort it as it was a nice pub...Food: 1/5
We visited relatives today and went to eat at the Hollymere what a mistake we ordered 2 mega mixed grills 2 chicken dishes 2 normal mixed grills and a pizza. Where do I start the mega mixed grills were terrible non existent chips i.e about 10 oven chips the onion rings were obviously Aldi or Lidl brought the meat if that's what you call it was tasteless and cardboard at best. The chicken dishes one was burnt to a crisp the other was pink inside the pizza was £7.99 and blatently a Chicago town frozen pizza cooked badly and inedible and duly left by a 7 year old who normally would of ate a pizza and asked for another. The service wasn't the best as the waitress seemed a bit unsure of her role in getting the food from the kitchen to the table. The 3 kids wanted desert against our better judgement as we wasn't sure which supermarket it would be from but ordered 2 fudge cakes and a brownie order in we waited the waitress came out and told us there was no brownies did we want something else then ran off to the kitchen and came back to say they had the brownies not fudge cake she thought. We just got our money back for desert and stopped at the local shop for cake and custard for the kids a better choice I think shame we didn't get the mixed grills from there it would probably have been bigger and tasted better. I felt guilty that my relatives had paid for our meal but rest assured when we visit them again we will be eating elsewhere.
