A peaceful spot in Canary Wharf, perfect for relaxing. The garden is housed within a unique latticed roof, inspired by Asian and British landscapes. I enjoyed the lush greenery and many seating areas, which really let you connect with nature. I even saw a yoga session happening there. The pergola on the wharf caught my eye, but I didn’t get to try it yet... maybe next time. Overall, it’s a calming experience and a nice escape from the busy surroundings.
Visited here after going to Sky Garden. Lush green escape in the middle of hustle and bustle of Canary Wharf. Free to enter and was calming presence after madness at Sky Garden. There was a machine with free short reads and it looks that arts and events take place. If you want a bite a couple of eateries nearby. Was a wonderful end to London trip.
A lovely quiet place to rest in the middle of a busy day. Also, be sure to check out the performances taking place on Wednesdays, the Pergola on the Wharf for some lunch, and there's even a story machine which prints out parts of books for you to read while you're there on sustainable paper!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Lovely hidden garden in the centre of Canary Wharf. Not a great spot for views as it's not that high and most of the windows are covered with netting. Interesting plant species and a nice spot of nature.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Efforts were dedicated to making such a complicated indoor garden on the roof of a beautiful building. Exotic plants from other continents are well maintained.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This is a lovely place that is free of charge. There are a number of many plants and the whole atmosphere here is very relaxing. There are a number of benches here, where you can stop and rest and relax or have a picnic. No need to book a ticket, you just get off at Canary Wharf and follow the signs for CrossRail Place.
I recently visited the Crossrail Place Roof Garden located in London's Canary Wharf and had a wonderful time. The garden is enclosed and spans 300 metres, boasting a vast collection of plants and trees. It is open to the public daily and free to visit until 9 pm or sunset in the summer. Information boards are placed throughout the garden, providing detailed explanations about the plants. I highly recommend a visit to this tranquil garden, as it is usually peaceful and a great spot to unwind while reading a book.
Great, peaceful, quiet area to eat your lunch amongst the greenery of the roof garden. Plenty of seating as well.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
