A very very beautiful old green park with gigantic trees and a great vibe. Ideal for cycling. You will love it. One of the best parks of London. There is a cafe inside as well for coffee and bakery stuff. Tried the pistachio croissant and loved it.
Excellent park with sports centre, cafe, children's area toddlers and older children separate areas. Beautiful lake with ducks with duck feed available at the cafe. Large expanse of grassy area suitable for football or picnics. Restrooms: Restrooms available at the cafe.
A lovely community park a 5 minute stroll from Bermondsey station. Shame about the weather when I visited to see the Rally Festival and some very cool alternative artists including Nourished By Time, Montafiera, James Holden and Bar Italia.
The lovely park. It is a perfect place to walk your dog or just have a picnic. Very beautiful small garden near the pond. You can play tennis there or take a boat. Overall, it's definitely worth visiting.
Big Park. It is really massive and very well maintained. You can cycle responsibly there as the path is shared. It's a beautiful place.
Very lovely park. So much space and so many things to do around. So many activities. Boat. Playground for kids. Place for cricket. Place for tennis. Caffe on the middle of the park. Warning ‼ the area is dangerously for the phone thieves with speed bikes. And the issue with lake. There is a dead goose. Supposed to check and remove
Simply therapeutic. Last week was really one of the most stressful days of my life. Personal issues and anxiety as an octogenarian close to my heart faces risk of anaesthesia and surgery. Spent three hours there watching the wildlife and people on a lively sunny Sunday evening and certainly came out refreshed ready to face my worse fears and took some of the toughest decisions I will have to live with for the rest of my life. I strongly recommend this place for exercise, leisure walks or just to clear your head.
Beautiful park with lots of areas to explore. Also includes many facilities like outdoor gym, tennis courts, athletics track and much more. Great for a gentle stroll or to sit and relax for a while.
Pretty good park in Southwark. There is little lake within the park you can do boating. Cafe on site you could get food and drinks. Ice cream is £3 a scoop, 4 for the sugar cone which is really expensive. Play park is pretty good size and your children can have a play in it. Toilets are right next to it. There is a gallery next to cafe but we didn’t check it out. There are various courts for cricket, tennis and football. Outdoor gyms are also available. Main path of the park is in good condition, it will be good for skating and skating boarding. Parking spaces are free within the park for 4 hours which is really convenient.
Lovely victorian park with a children's playground, bandstand, tennis courts, table tennis, boating lake seasonal, water fountain, bowls pavilion running track, two small galleries, small gym, café, cricket bowling practice area and toilets. Beware, though there are a lot of dog walkers here....just incase you are not a fan of our furry friends !
