This place is simply beautiful. When the sun is out, this is a wholesome place for the entire family. It is very scenic and beautiful. Loads of spots to play, sit and walk. You can ride your bicycles with relative ease and no hassles here or give your dog that walk it needs to stay healthy. Highly recommended for people who need ro get out of the house for a while.
Love coming here with something to do for the kids, and nice views. Local shops nearby with Tesco express, local restaurants like creams & fish & chips etc , so it’s a nice idea to grab a bite and sit. The park does close early during winter times and has security patrols to ensure safety which is good.
Great park, fantastic views and lots of different landscapes within in. Riverside walks, large open grounds, tree lined paths, jogging track, benches all around, playground for kids, basketball court. If only the cafe was running, it would have been even more brilliant. Hopefully some day it will open!
Such a nice place to walk around it's a big place with an interesting garden area that you can walk around almost like a converted dry dock from the Thames although it could have been I haven't had a chance to really look into it and being the name of the DLR station could be a possibility. I wanted to go see the Thames barrier and whilst looking on the maps I found this place which made a great place to view the barrier from. This park is right next to a DLR station called pontoon dock. There are public toilets here. I really enjoyed visiting this place and would love to go back again soon.
Lovely park with beautiful river views. Really nice for a family walk, taking the baby for a stroll, or just going for a run, especially during quiet times. It feels very serene on weekday afternoons. You may even see some fruit trees!
Next to Pontoon Dock station. Beautiful park with the view of the Thames Barrier. Wonderful picnic and dog-walking spot.
A beautiful green space and wonderful place to look at the Thames Barrier which in itself is pretty awesome. And then there is the river, something so relaxing watching the Thames wide and fast flowing here. A very pleasant way to while away a sunny afternoon.
Such a nice big park clean and tidy a nice view of the river Thames and the Thames barrier. Go and vist here especially in the summer
What a great park! Clean, manicured and well equipped. My dog absolutely loved playing catch here as well as playing with other friendly dogs.
A nice place to go with kids. There is a very nice garden area too but at the moment there's a lot of work going on and most of the park is closed to the public, there's a cafe in the park that is also bow closed. There's very limited parking nearby especially if you go during the day. The nearest DLR station is Pontoon Docks immediately opposite the park. There's lots of new developments nearby which obscure the entrance to the park. There's a children's play area and views of the river and the Thames Barrier. Would get at least 4 stars if the park and cafe were open.
