I've been coming to Greenacres for a few years now, and love it. It's really handy for the forest of Dean. It's reasonably priced, and the facilities are good. It's in a nice sunny spot. Newly opened is a heated shower block, toilet, and washing area, which is fab. The site is kept tidy by the owners, who are nice and friendly. It's never been noisy. You can hire a fire pit, logs, kindling and firelighter for £8, so can have a camp fire. You can walk across the fields, which are really pretty, to the town, that has shops and restaurants, and walk by a kids play ground on the way. I love it! There's lots of birdsong, squirrels and a few sheep in the meadow but not too many, beautiful in spring to see the lambs!

I stayed at Greenacres Campsite recently with my partner Harry. We couldn't have been more pleased when we arrived! It was in lovely surroundings and the whole site was kept so clean and tidy. The reason for our trip was to explore the forest of dean and this was the perfect location to stay to do that. It was also super handy having a local town within walking distance or a short car journey away. Mo & Andy the owners were so helpful throughout and really friendly. The toilet block was of really high quality, which is always a nice treat whilst you're camping! 10/10 for this place. Thanks again, we can't wait to bring friends next time!

My wife and I are regular visitors to Greenacres and love the time we spend there. It is a very peaceful and picturesque site that is the perfect place to unwind. Whilst we do not have children it also very popular with families as it is a very safe place for kids to enjoy the outdoors. It has excellent toilet and washing facilities in a modern new building and has firepits in some fields for campfires (even wood is available on site for a very small fee!) It is also a great base for exploring the sites of the Forest of Dean and beyond. Highly recommended!

Great place to pitch up with spectacular views and brilliant facilities. Whether you're roughing it in a tent beneath the stars at night or in the comfort of a caravan Greenacres has all the amenities you could wish for. Thoroughly recommended!

A lovely, clean campsite with incredible new facilities!! The owners were very helpful, pointing me in the right direction to the nearest pubs and local cycle paths! Highly recommended!
