Great location for exploring the area. You can walk down to the river Wye in half an hour. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Facilities are a little dated but certainly not the worst I’ve ever seen and there are lots of loos and showers and hot water could’ve done with some cold in 32 degrees! It is a bit pot luck with your pitch we camped with electric as a lot are on a slope, but there are flat ones. I’d recommend and go again
Just had a very enjoyable couple of nights 17/9/22 to 19/9/22 at this campsite. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming we didn't even have to get out of our campers to sign in. The grounds were very well kept and the showers/toilets/washing up area we used the block nearest reception were extremely clean. Showers were free and the water was hot. The site was peaceful with wonderful walks through the forest immediately outside the gates. We would recommend this site and will certainly be returning.
