Doward park campsite a great place to stay all staff are wonderful. And comes with every thing you need to have a home from home and have lots of fun. In the local area, You can have picnics Buy the caves. Take your dogs for walks but you must pick up after them and dispose properly. And take rubbish home. The is a lot off history there on the great doward. the caves as and old quarry's. woodlands. Severn sister rocks walks along the river. On the hill next door is called the little doward. There is a old hill top bronze age fourt or iron age not sure. And the other side is Symons's yat rock. View point. cycle path and pubs and hotel's b&b's and holiday cottages in symonds yat east and symonds yat west you have lots off pubs the wooden ferry to get to each side of Symonds yat over the river. great place to do a lot off walking, cycling, fishing and canoeing on the wye rapids. For the fishing you must have a license and find out where you are aloud to fish. Canoeing you can hire canoes from the canoeing center"s both sides of Symonds yat. As and Symonds yat west there is arcade., the amazing hedge puzzle and butterfly zoo. shops, petrol stations. And supermarkets in the two towns near buy Ross on wye and Monmouth .and it is where you can pitch tents or two as and caravans &camper vans. It is a great place for all the family. You problem will not want to go home.

Great family and dog friendly campsite with nice walks along the river Wye. Toilets, shower block, washing facilities and shop.The campsite is well maintained with hedges for shelter and privacy. There is also a play area for the kids.

Lovely campsite for a few days. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly and helpful owner. Toilet and shower block basic but fine.

Just returned from a lovely 2 night stay here. One of the best in Symonds Yat. Great facilities, child-friendly, lovely civilised campers and good little shop filled with the extras that matter. Will definitely be coming back.

This campsite has cracked a winning formula. Your pitch is reserved and set amongst the trees and bush defined areas. All within easy walk to shower and toilet block. Nice touch are picnic benches to hire for just £1.50 per day and if it is wet you can borrow some decking squares to use as door mats. Some pitches have electrical hook ups but all are very well planned. Plenty of woods to explore and great place for families or couples.
