Been here several times now. It's a lovely laid back site with clean shower and toilet facilities..and an outside washing up area with hot water 3 fishing pools. 1 of them is full of Rudd and it's great for the kids and there are a couple of rods they can use. The other 2 are for fly fishing and you can hire the rods, for beginners you can have a lesson, there is also a coarse fishing lake available off site. Fire pits are available to hire and they are delivered to your tent by a member of the friendly staff. The small cafe is open for breakfast and evening meals - you can pre order your food and get it delivered to your pitch if you want. It is also licensed. Coffee and cold drinks are available all day.( Alcohol available during normal licensing hours) They sometimes have locally homemade pickled onions available which are some of the best I have tasted. The boar burgers are sublime and the homemade scotch eggs are pretty good too. There are some lovely walks through the forest which is just behind the site. Lovely old oak trees in the main field. Small play area for little ones Perfect site for visiting local attractions like Clearwell caves, Go Ape, Sculpture trail to name a few are within a 15 to 20 minute drive. Cannot recommend it highly enough, we went as a couple the first time and then took our teenager with us and she loved it too.

Great campsite run by Jeff. Clean toilet block and decent ground to pitch up on. You can also try a bit of fishing if you want. On the expensive side at £16 per pitch per night. Oh and if you're staying over you have to try the wild boar burger, it's bloody amazing.

Had a fantastic weekend here! Great location, lovely local produce in the onsite café and fire pits brought to your tent if required. Kids loved the pigs, chickens and geese. Adults loved the scotch eggs and cider!!

Not too bad, great toilet/shower blocks nice and warm, lovely and clean. Not cheap but there are more expensive places to stay. If you want food from the on site cafe take plenty of money, expensive for what you get.
