What a beautiful place to stroll. Wonder into the top park for a bit more of a woodland feel. Lucky to see it with snow on the ground.
Nice to see blossom at Golden Acre, pity walking round the lake was the usual mud-fest. Always been like that, but spoils the pleasure for some folk, esp considering the age and mobility of some visitors.
Unfortunately, it looks like it is ignored since long time. I ve been in this park before it was amazing with lots of plants species, green field, wild animals and colourful trees, may be it is ignored coz of no staff taking care of it due to covid. I hope they will look after it again very soon.
Really open an spacious place for walks with family an friends will definitely be coming back just needs abit more litter bins so I don't have to carry rubbish around, the parking area can do with some looking after people seem friendly
I have just visited this park because a friend had recommended that and I really think it is one of the great parks in Leeds. It is so big and the lake is very large and it is full of different birds. I really enjoyed the walk, it was really peaceful. It is also suitable for riding.
If going with a wheelchair. Pop in Golden Acre Cafe otherwise it might send you to the other car park. Which is steep with hills to get to the main party of the park. Take a look at the Map of the park as lots of people miss out the large lake and woods and only see the small pond and cafe. Lovely walks, loads of squirrels and birds.
Great place to spend time with family. Able to feed squirrels and birds from the hand just make sure you being some nuts!

Golden acre park is on the outskirts of the Uk's 3rd largest city, Leeds. The place is beautiful and covered with green forests and clean air. It's one of the famous tourist destinations of Leeds and with free entry tickets. The place has a lot of space for parking too.
