Gorgeous park, not too far from the city centre, the lake is beautiful, large and full of swans, geese and ducks can have fun feeding them wild fowl feed!, with ample paths and open space to enjoy a leisurely scroll, exercise, walk your dog. All round lovely park.
My first time walking around the lake. It's beautiful and we were lucky with a fantastic sunny winters day with a frozen lake! Looking forward to visiting again. It was very icy at parts - caused a few scary moments for kids and adults alike - so be careful.
Walking around the larger lake at Roundhay Park is always lovely but please wear sensible shoes as parts of the path can be muddy and slippery after heavy rainfall. As long as you are careful you can have a really enjoyable walk enjoying the surroundings. Well worth a bit of mud on the shoes and at the foot of your trousers.
Love walking round the lake. Not busy as people are obviously taking lockdown rules seriously. Great place for fresh air and excersise and kids love it.
Massive with lots of nice walks and different kinds of areas all in the same park. It can be quite crowded, especially the areas for children!!!! The park is very well maintained, and I love all the seats and rest areas around the park!
Lockdown ... what lockdown! Very very busy today but beautiful in the spring sunshine.
Very cosmopolitan, nice walk, open for a take out coffee and an ice cream but no toilets open, they probably cant make money from the toilets but coffee they can.
