Just been to visit this lovely area of woodland after discovering it on way out of Golden Acre Park. it was an added bonus which everyone needs to know about. Highly recommended for walking the dog too!
Enjoyable walk especially over the past couple of months watching the swan family grow
Some people don't know this place exists, they will be more inclined to walk around golden acre, that's why the marsh is a peaceful place, with a nice walk through woodland, to a water Lilly filled lake, not a over long walk, but easy enough to walk around twice different route each time.
Lose yourself in nature.
Perfect time of year to visit. I saw two swans with babies.
Very impressed. Good for walking, cycling, sitting for a picnic by the lake. Clean. Lovely place to visit with family or friends. Free parking nearby
Pleasant walk through wooded area and round the pond. The pond has lily pads, swans and ducks. Beautiful location
