Gold in Notting Hill gets it just right. The atmosphere is lively, relaxed, and perfect for a group meal. The outdoor space is especially beautiful, with glass ceilings that let in natural light and lots of greenery that makes the whole place feel vibrant and welcoming. It’s the kind of restaurant where you end up staying longer than planned, enjoying good food and good company.nnThe menu is designed for sharing, so it’s best to order several plates for the table. The fish carpaccio was incredibly fresh, while the cauliflower and sweet potato dishes stood out with bold, satisfying flavors. One of my personal favorites was the cabbage with anchovy dressing, a simple dish but packed with flavor. Beautiful place. With different seating. Amazing selections.nBut why so much lettuce on the buratta and alot of spinach on the carpaccio?nOther than that everything was so good. The combo of sweet onion and feta was divine.nJuicy short ribs raviolinN the steak nSimply amazing dishes you cnt go wrong in anything you order.. Just tell them less greenery on the first two dishes i mentioned so you can taste it better
Food was excellent at gold. Lots of options fuelled with delicious and fresh ingredients. Good vegetarian choices as well so cases well for all customers.nnWe had a good server who was well trained to support the veggies in our group and recommend good options.nnWhilst the ambience is nice, the set up felt really cramped. We had a side table and could barely get into the chair as the table behind was really close. I would recommend the restaurant to provide adequate dining space so ensure customers enjoy their experience vs being squished like a can of sardines!
Came to Gold for a birthday meal and had a wonderful evening. The food was super tasty and cocktails were great. The service particularly was fantastic and helped us make a delicious and balanced selection.
Had my birthday here and it was amazinggg. My girls and I loved the food and the service was amazing - the staff were lovely. Got served by Racquel and she’s an angel. The food was really good and pleasantly filling, and everything was reasonably priced. Would go back again.
