Story

Glasgow Science Centre is one of Scotland's must-see visitor attractions situated on the banks of the Clyde. We present concepts of science and technology in unique and inspiring ways - interactive exhibits, planetarium, live science shows & Imax 3D cinema.

We noticed the science centre across from where we where staying whilst on a trip for my daughters birthday. We decided to stop by for a visit and we where glad we did. The staff on the ticket desk where very polite and helpful. Inside there was lots to do and see. It was filled with interesting and interactive exhibits. We only stayed for a few hours as we had to catch a flight home but you could easily make it a whole day. My daughter had lots of fun learning new things as we went around. There was also an inclosed play area for children which was lovely my 4 year old didn’t want to leave. There was also a cafe unfortunately we didn’t have the time to try it. My 5 year old has said she wants to go to Scotland for her birthday treat so if we return we would definitely be visiting again as I know my 5 year old would love this just as much if not more.
Like they have bill neigh a budget, and told him to go ham.nOur we one spent 4 hours here and neither the adults or kiddo was bored.
GSC is located on a few floors with the activities being pro active, and you can use/touch all of them. GSC is for all ages, but most of the fun is for ages up to 10 years old. Due to a lot of children running about areas can be very loud. I like it the area for up to 7 years old, which was essentially a soft play, close area. For planetarium, you need to buy extra tickets. I would strongly suggest bringing your own lunch as the cafeteria has limited options, at least for our taste. Some activities seem outdated and broken, but generally, you can have fun for a few hours. Is it worth traveling for 40 minutes to see it? Well, I could argue this, but for locals and with the passport means unlimited access for a year, it is definitely worth it, especially if you have young children.
The science museum with a lot of interactive devices. I think the museum is quite focus on children, but I still find it interesting to play with all those display.
Absolutely brilliant day out with my 9yr old nephew. So much to see, learn and interact with!nnReasonably priced staffed by knowledgeable guides. Brilliant day out. Definitely a must if in Glasgow!
