The Glasgow Science Centre is an absolutely fantastic place to visit! It’s not just a museum but an exciting and interactive hub for science, technology, and learning. Whether you’re a curious child, a science enthusiast, or just someone looking for a fun day out, this place has something for everyone! From interactive exhibits to live science shows, you’re guaranteed to learn something new and have a great time while doing it. nnThe design of the centre itself is impressive – the futuristic architecture makes you feel like you’re stepping into another world. The planetarium, in particular, is an experience not to be missed, offering breathtaking views of the night sky and distant galaxies . It’s perfect for families, school groups, or even a solo adventure if you’re in the mood to explore.nnThe staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions or demonstrate how things work. They make the experience even more engaging and enjoyable.nnWhat I love most is how the centre inspires curiosity and a passion for learning. Whether it’s physics, biology, or space, you leave feeling like you’ve explored the wonders of the universe. Highly recommended if you’re in Glasgow!
Visited Glasgow Science centre with family. It was a really great experience. There is a lot to explore for kids and adults. Visited both imax and Planetarium, and all enjoyed it, which was a very informative experience. It's really worth spending time with kids here when visiting Glasgow. If you need to experience everything you need to visit multiple times.
An absolute blast for every member of the family. Everything is interactive and educational. We saw an IMAX documentary and a planetarium show which may be a bit much for one day, I would recommend picking one out of the twonThe science shows are definitely a must though.nWe got food in the cafe which was reasonably priced and plenty of options. There are some indoor picnic spaces which are an option more places should have.nAll the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We spent over 4 hours all in so it can be a full day out of you choose to make it that
Exposition similar to other science centres in Europe with main target of school age kids, and this is what we were after. Exhibition across 3 floors combining learning with fun and any child between 3 and 13 will find something especially interesting for them. Helpful staff and only one exhibit not working due to maintenance. This is what I remember from other places like this, which get very busy and sometimes it happens 10% of the exhibition is not working, luckily not the case here.
It was amazing. All the science experiments were awesome. Kids enjoyed a lot and there are so many scientific experiments, you need entire day to explore all. Science show was also great and hosts Helen and David were great.
