A modest museum but well worth it because of the glimpse into Glasgow life from years ago. The staff is genuinely interested and makes all the necessary introductions. A lovely experience. Make sure to donate when you leave!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What an absolutely amazing experience with great stories from the man himself who made this whole museum happen. Had a blast with my parents looking around the small spaces. The collection is enormous and definitely worth the visit. Gift shop prices are well affordable and have a great choice of things. Thank you once again for the amazing hospitality and the hour we have been there. It went past very fast. 5 stars are not enough to rate this place. Definitely recommend!
The Glasgow Police Museum offers a rich historical insight into Scotland's police force, a global perspective on police work, and authentic crime artifacts. Visitors can explore the evolution of police uniforms and see an impressive collection of international police medals. Engaging storytelling by knowledgeable guides enhances the experience, while unique souvenirs are available for purchase. With free entry, the museum provides an accessible and budget-friendly activity that supports the recognition and preservation of the police force's history and community role.
I’m glad to experience this.. Free entry no tickets ..I viewed different historical events although a small museum but they have got friendly and dedicated staffs who would narrate to you some of the things displayed. I recommend you visit here whenever in Glasgow. Kudos to their entire team!

Super friendly welcome when we arrived, free to look around as long as you like. The people there are really knowledgeable, and it's clear to see they are proud to be there and love teaching. Amazing to see the array of badges and a few stories of where some of them have come from Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area !
Really enjoyed our visit! Tons of memorabilia very knowledgeable hosts x coppers of course and like other reviewers loved the uniforms of the world. The museum and a bonus of a lovely dog who while not a “police dog” happened to be there was a delight.
A hidden gem! Loved the displays, simply well-curated. The kind and passionate gentlemen who ran the museum were knowledgeable and friendly. When they heard that we are travelling all the way to Edinburgh, they told us to visit House of Bruar, which we did. We really appreciated the tip as we had a blast shopping at House of Bruar!
Visited on a rainy day and received a warm welcome. Had a great introduction from one of the volunteers. Very interesting museum celebrating the first Police force in the UK. Both volunteers were friendly and chatty. Would definitely recommend.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
