A very beautiful park. People can spend good time with their pets. Playgrounds and jogging tracks. Nice place
Edwardian era park situated in-between the Thames and the Putney Bridge Road. There is a large grass area in the middle with a walking path going all the way around it with a cycle path skirting the river. There are tennis courts here, mini golf and public toilets. Two water fountains on the path these also cater for dogs. Some art sculptures can be found on the paths. A lovely park to walk in.
Fairly decent green space that doesn’t have many stand out features other than being along side the Thames river. Nice for a walk in if you’re going through it, but otherwise it’s not big enough to wonder in and it gets very busy, so you may want to walk towards Battersea park or back into Putney.
A very beautiful park, the trees next to the river side look gorgeous in the Summer. Can find movie-like scene in the park. It’s thrilling to walk there, love it.
A park that seems to cater for all ages and well worth a visit. It has a riverside tree lined walk dog friendlyand large grass play area. Access to Wandsworth town centre is available via Thames path / River Wandle. The only problem is street parking during the week which can be costly and time limited.
Lovely park, by the river. Great for a wander, chill in the park or sit on benches overlooking the river. Great also for spotting the Parakeets in the trees. If time, defo. have ago at the mini golf course…..V.fun.
Lovely park, so well manicured and good vibe
One of the most beautiful and serene parks I've come across in Putney and possibly London for it's size, right on the river side gives you a beautiful all year round view of the ever changing scene the river creates. Being on a bend, you can see a great deal. One thing being the four barges that are set opposite the park, which house many species of bird. The most common being heron and cormorants. And I'm not kidding, there are plenty to see at all times! Not only is this park perfect for photography, it is a delightful place to run or just walk and take in the fresh air provided by the many tree's, and enjoy all the fluffy doggies that roam around. Basically, I love this little piece of paradise.
Not a very huge park but it is charming with views of the river. The trees lining the pavement near the river are magnificent and must be quite ancient.
