I visited the pet shop in Staithe St, Wells on Wednesday 25th April 2018 and enquired about a fabric travel crate for my small dog. I have bought a few small items from the shop previously. I met the shop assistant, Dawn, who was very helpful and provided me with measurements so I could check the size of the crate against the available space in my car. Dawn said that the crates could be provided in different colours, including black. I telephoned on Saturday 5th May to order a black crate. Dawn answered the call but said they didn't have a black one in stock and she is unable to order a specific colour. I asked when more stock would be available and was passed to the store owner Sarah Jefford. Sarah was unhelpful, off hand, abrupt and made me feel as though I was wasting her time talking to me. Her telephone manner made me feel unwelcome. I will never use the shop again.
