Extremely rude staff. I came in with an ice cream that was just about done, mind you I'm an adult that is neat and responsible, and was told I'm not allowed in with ice cream. There were no signs but other people had dirty wet dogs in but that was okay. I was definitely going to buy something but now won't be returning.
Oh, what we have here is a cosy little Aladdin's cave of curiosities and fabric fineries! This emporium of the eclectic seems to be a treasure trove for the sartorially savvy and the accessorising aficionados. Bags of every conceivable pattern, dangling like ripened fruits from a clothier's tree, vie for attention beside scarves that drape with the casual grace of a bohemian poet's verses. And the jewellery! My stars, it's as if a pirate's chest vomited its contents in a glittering arc across the wall. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, each winking and shimmering like stars in a night sky, compete for the limelight, throwing refracted rainbows around their little corner of the world. Beneath, the wooden tables, rugged and honest in their craftsmanship, present a cornucopia of trinkets and baubles. From tiny, whimsical figurines that could’ve danced straight out of a child’s fervent imagination to bowls that whisper tales of soups and salads soon to be cradled within their earthen embrace. And there, the baskets, as if a weaver's fingers played a loom like a harpist would her strings, with results that are just as melodic to the eyes. It's a tapestry of textures and hues, a sensory sonnet penned in merchandise. A feast for the eyes, no less hearty than a banquet, and just as likely to leave you satiated with the joy of discovery.
We’ve visited this little beaut of a shop several times whilst on visits to Norfolk. This shop is the main reason we pop to Wells, the lady who usually works in here is super friendly and helpful. I always come away having brought several bits and bobs! The silver rings are usually a must! We are visiting this weekend and I cannot wait to have another look around and see what treasures I find! See you Saturday 6th April
On January 20th, I visited the store with my young son who was eager to use his pocket money for a special treat. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the shop assistant who not only invaded our personal space by being unnecessarily close but also physically pushed me aside twice to label already labeled stock. This incident was particularly unsettling, leading us to leave without making a purchase. Despite being a regular customer who often travels two hours to visit, this gross invasion of personal space has left a lasting negative impression, and regrettably, we won't be returning to the store.
Bought a Natural East dress for £28. Decided to hand wash it and I cannot stop the red dye from running out. Off to try and buy some dye fixer. Natural East, thank you for contacting me. I am not sure if you received my reply. Attached is a photo as requested.
This really is a fantastic shop, visited every time we are in the area. They have some truly interesting merchandise, i've just purchased, on a whim, a little magic box with no obvious way to open it see photos and it is driving me mad.
Lovely place right in the Quay, lots of lovely things to buy. Helpful friendly staff and safety measures in place. Ideal place to get gifts or treat yourself. Love the new paint colour in side, great job
Shocking customer service. The lady at the till was more interested in her one sided conversation with a colleague. As I held out my hand for my change it was placed next to it, on the shirt I had bought. No 'thank you' no eye contact nothing, nada, zilch, not a word ! Shocking
This is a beautiful and very interesting place that sells a diverse range of items from different cultures and styles. These can include scarves, colourful bags authentic looking Chinese hats, ornaments, dream catchers, earrings, necklaces keyrings, rings and lots lots more. During my last visit I purchased a lovely pair of birthstone earrings and an indigo scarf which I love, this is a great shop!
Good range of products available at good prices. Many of the products would make great gifts I personally bought lots of things for myself and a few gifts for others in there. The only downside is a pair of baggy lounge pants I bought only lasted a week or two before they started to split at the seams, which really disappointed me, so maybe don't buy clothes from there.
