Excellent cider Friendly and helpful staff, they took the time to explain to our children how it's all made and bottled a great full distraction so we could have another cheeky half Bought 6 bottles to take home, too Highly recommended sit-in and takeaway, too. Thank you, Whinhill cider. See you again on our next visit to Wells.
One of the highlights of our short trip to Wells, was this little gem. The pictures don't do it justice, but it's beautiful and the perfect spot to while away the hours on a sunny or overcast afternoon. They're absolutely lovely and possibly the most dog friendly spot we found. We had our nervous Dachshund in tow and were made to feel so welcome. You can sample the different varieties of cider a really nice touch and they also have a range of local gins, liqueurs, vodkas etc in addition to some lovely jams and honey products. If you're in the area and you like cider or want some other local alcohol this is a must! Enjoy a bottle on site and load up on goodies to go. Worth a detour as it really is unlike anywhere else you'll find. I just wish they would also set up in Warwickshire...
Simply marvellous. So friendly. Dogs welcome too. Well worth a visit and a cool drink. Both Apple Cider and Pear Cider Perry available. Reasonably priced.
Cor blast me! What a cracking little place this cider shop is. Situated on the North Norfolk coast and the town of Wells-next-to-the-sea sits the Whin Hill cider works. It is genuinely one of the best things to do in the town and during harvest time you might see them pressing the apples and pears. The cider can be drunk on site and comes in 1ltr bottles at a very reasonable price. They also have perry and local bottled beers plus apple juice, gins, brandy and snacks. On the premises there is a lovely garden at the back which is a real sun trap and the front court yard is equally as sunny but offers a bit more shade. It is dog friendly as well and you can often see the owners 2 dogs running around and they're very friendly and love a good fuss. The staff at Whin Hill are brilliant! If you're not sure what cider you'll like best, they will take through a couple until you find the right one. Cash and card payments are accepted and you order online or if you're staying locally take some cider/Perry/apple juice home. During the summer months of July and August they're open every day 10:30 am until 5:30 pm. Then weekends only from September through to October 10:30 to early afternoon. Whin Hill has won numerous awards for their ciders so you're in for a treat.
Sitting in Whin Hill Cider's garden on a late Spring or Summer's day with one of their wonderful ciders is just a joy. All of the cider they produce is made from cider apples and perry pears grown in their own orchard in Stanhoe, less than 20 minutes from Wells next the Sea. Find the entrance within Stearmans Yard Car Park opposite Wells Crab House
What a lovely find. This is the best cider I have ever tasted. One can either drink on the premises or take away. Competitively priced too.

Great place to rest, have a cider and maybe take a few bottles home. Only down side is they wouldn't let me take their gorgeous pup whinnie home with me lol
Absolute hidden gem! Brilliant cider, brilliant service, dog friendly and friendly dogs on site. Very reasonably priced aswell
