Finished work just popped in for a drink, they have got sky sports, but no food in the week. Local people made me feel welcome, the bar staff are great, is definitely worth a visit.
Good little pub, always came here when I was younger, used to grab an amazing full English here at the time. Still lively and good service.
Excellent pub, landlady Anne is always courteous and will try her best to fit you in for an event or function. Sundays lunches are amazing and very good value for money. There is always something going on here, but most importantly I like this pub because they will not tolerate any antisocial behaviour.
Always friendly and always good beers on tap! Recommended if you want to watch the footy or listen to some live music, it isn't a club or a Wetherspoons style pub. There is a good old fashioned vibe about the pub but don't think its for old men! A good mix of people and a good selection of pub games make it a very enjoyable place to sit on a Saturday and sink a few pints. Haven't tried the food so cant tell you if that's any good but prices looked reasonable. Give it a try if you want a country pub feel or if you want some banter over the football!
