Best GP surgery in Fordhouses. I am registered with this surgery for the last 10 years. My family has always received excellent service. I can't praise the doctor enough. She is so dedicated and always has time for patients. Over the last 2-3 years I have noticed the surgery is very busy. May be the good name is spreading and more patient need the good family physician like this surgery. Getting appointments is not difficult. I read a few negative reviews hence I am writing this review. Sometimes patients don't get an appointment due to increased demand and it adds to their frustration. Also I believe the allegations about money, rude staff are not true. I am a member of a local patient group and we have never come across any complaints about the doctor or the staff. Best wishes.
Excellent surgery, the receptionists are very friendly. It is quite easy to get an appointment and the doctors are excellent - they don't rush and they take time to understand your concerns. I would recommend this GP.
Disgusting service will terrorise you to go in for injections because of course when they get extra money for the more patients they stick needles into it benefits them. But no way can you get an appointment. Was told the doctor would call me on a saturday morning. The surgery isn't even open. Just like the rest of the world money hungry carless selfish people
It impossible to get an appointment your told to call at 08.00am and the phone is engaged or your told six people in the waiting then your call is ended then you call back you wait again for ages only to be told no appointments left. Some staff are very abrupt and unsympathetic. The doctors are brilliant and very and good with patients however the system for booking appointments need much improvement and customer service needs to improve for good care and quality for the patients.
I would like to commend Dr Malik on the way she conducts herself as a doctor, she has helped me with several issues that I have had and always gives me more time and doesn't make my appointment feel rushed.
Its really difficult to book an appointment here. When you call at 8am there is either a long queue so you have to call back later, and by that time the receptionist will say that we should’ve called at 8am so call back the next day. The receptionists can be very rude and rush you when you try and speak also making booking an appointment a nightmare. The doctors are lovely though.
Doctors I have no issue how ever one receptionist is extremely rude not sure on the name but it’s the young girl, not helpful at all and rude both in person and on the phone. Doesn’t want to do anything to help, I dread every time she answers the phone to deal with me
It’s extremely difficult to get appointments no matter what time or day you call Receptionist very rude her name Abbie The other receptionist told me they going pass the information but she didn’t because she want to go home For the last 3 weeks I’m trying to get appointment with Dr Malik face to face I can’t get they made appointment with different Gp mayfield which I’ve cancelled They don’t like people to rise the voices or behave bad with staff but the forgotten them self they are behind all this One star for this gp far to high I have contacted the NHS for formal complaint
Shocking service, can never get through let alone get an appointment. The lines are constantly busy - the staff are rude. Don't have time to actually listen to the matter in concern and talk over you. The NHS is becoming a nightmare day by day. Something needs to change.
The website reads: How to make an appointment. Phone in to make one and the first thing I'm told before saying anything is "we have no appointments". What does this mean? They have no appointments for the day? Ever? Then I just get abruptly cut off at the end of the call. The NHS really is bad.
