Would have given no stars if this were possible. Foot Locker has a wide range of trainers but also the rudest sales assistant I have ever encountered in the whole of my life. I've reached that age where I'm invisible but do expect common courtesy especially in a shop where I'm going to part with money. I saw a pair of trainers I liked, a young man came over and I asked him for them in a size 7. He returned a few minutes later, threw the trainer back on the display and shouted at me that they only had them in a size 6. First of all even if he didn't have them in my size he should've actually spoken to me - not shouted and also he should've told me if they came in my size or not and maybe offered me some help in seeing if another foot locker had them. I've also been to JD Sports on the other side of the road in Brixton and though the assistants were young there too, they were polite and helpful. I wouldn't go back to Foot Locker if they were the last trainer shop inthe work.

I went today to Foot Locker in Brixton, probably I was the only costumer inside the store... Well... I started to try some trainers when the security come to me and ask me to STOP trying trainers, that I couldn't try more than one because the employee was there to do that job... Are you guys serious? Stop being rude and offer some help if you don't like people trying trainers.... If someone is in the store and already tried more than one pair I think the employee has to go to the costumer and ask if the costumer needs some help.. Specially when you only had one costumer... Am I wrong? Really rude the way that security spoke with me when he was the one chatting with the employees when I was trying trainers by myself... So I went to the next shop, JD sports and I bought 2 pairs of trainers because someone helped me to choose and no one treated me that way.

Good footlocker, it's a decent size. Definitely bigger than the walworth road one.

I don't think I can rate this store even a one star. The day I went there we walked in to find a very unhappy customer who was apparently complaining to a teenager who was insisting he was really the manager, which was seriously annoying the lady in question. Right by the supposed managers side leaning against the till primed to argue rather then looking for customer to serve. Every time the manger tried to deal with the situation she would really rudely and condescendingly respond to the customer dismissing her issues. All of this escalated while we stood there for a whole 10 min. She even looked over at us once or twice when she was not interrupting the other conversation, each time choosing to ignore us. Finally the only other person in the store who had been actually serving a customer came over to the till apologetically asked if I need help. The girl again looked at us, this time as if we smelled, and dismissed the fact that we had been there a very long time patiently waiting. No apology or explanation at all. Her Colleague looked like he was both used to it, and both amused as she is possibly "known" for her superior attitude. Both my partner and I were just open mouthed. I was directed by the other sales men to the kind of shoe I was looking for, and when I could not find it, and he was no longer available. I noticed the sales girl walking past, there was no indication that she was actually doing anything. We stepped in front of her and asked simply where a certain brand stood. We asked politely and even apologised for stopping her, and without looking in our direction, or taking her eyes of a group of young men that her colleague was now joyfully, being loud and fist bumping on the other side of the room, not even gesturing in any direction she sort of kissed her teeth and said "over there", and sauntered over to her colleague for a chat. I decided to return later with my child to try on a shoe to be certain, and when I arrived that afternoon the store was completely full to the brim. This time there were about another 3 or 4 sales people. One was screaming in Italian on a walkie talkie which was full blast so everyone could hear him. The music was full blast that my 11 year old was even like please lets go. We stood there for about 45 min and watched boxes of shoes skidding across floors and spun from one attendant to another. No organisation at all on whose shoes were for who. And the place was packed full of young kids who spent most of the time socialising with the sales people in what looked like some kind a teenage after school hang out spot. Sales people playing basket ball in the store with friends too. The same rude girl making a point to ignore or at least not give any smiling time to anybody who wasn't a handsome young man. I saw her dodge so many requests for help while walking around with the same pair of shoes as if she was waiting for someone to notice her. It was shocking. And the music was SO LOUD. I said that I second time just incase you did not catch it the first time. All of that with music on like you were at Ministry of sound at midnight. I love that kind of environment actually. But not necessarily when I am trying to go buy shoes for my kids in the daytime, on a already hectic city street . It is very simply the worst managed shop I have ever seen. Does Footlocker not have any secret shoppers??? Why are you hiring teen staff who are not being supervised by an adult manager. I know trainers are demographically more worn by kids. But their Parents also have to pay for it. Just because people in Brixton are necessarily the most posh people in the world doesn't mean we deserve service at a lower standard then central London. Footlocker should be ashamed of itself. OMG it was awful.

Staff members are so rude and unhelp here. Didn't purchase an item due to their rudeness.
