Come on Tesco. It's September 2024. You've got July 2024 stock on your shelves. It's hard enough having dietary needs without having out of date stock, not just one item but all of that particular product. Not good enough. I've given 3 stars as you have a good variety but this lets you down.
Got to relay details of something that happened today at this branch of Tescos. The Missus and I had just finished browsing the aisles and loading the shopping trolley. We went over to the checkout which seemed least busy with only one person ahead of us. The customer was a mature well spoken lady and she had picked up a small tray of blueberries, which unfortunately had not been sealed properly and they scattered onto the floor. The checkout assistant then proceeded to get up and call to someone to bring a dustpan and brush. The cleaner guy approached and said that he didn't know where to find a dustpan and brush. The lady customer asked if she could just go and get another tray of blueberries and then skipped off. After a few minutes there was still no sign of a dustpan and brush, so by this time I was losing my will to live. I then turned to the checkout lady and suggested that she cordon off the area and keep people at least 10 metres away from the location. She gave little response so I asked if she intended to announce that it was a major incident and whether she would need details of witnesses? After some time the cleaner finally appeared with a dustpan and brush which he may have taken from a shelf in the store.nIf I hadn't seen what drama could unfold after spilling a tray of blueberries I would never have believed it.nTo finish off, the cleaner returned with a floor buffing machine and gave the floor a once over.nnI am relieved that no casualties resulted from this incident and I expect there will be a full in depth inquiry.
The worst Tesco. Manager appears to not care about customers and the security profile everyone making it obvious and uncomfortable. Thirty years on off have used this Dunton Road Tesco. I avoid it unless no choice as the rude staff the worst customer service and you will I kid you not find an issue. Tesco old Kent road needs closing. The fact the new Tesco policy means staff get away with this conduct and you never hear from head office or anyone about the spiralling conduct and attitudes you will know as more and more people avoid the store.nnIt is dirty and the staff think they can treat customers how they like that is not their right at all!nLewisham Tesco remains outstanding and night and day.nThere is something wrong with the attitudes of the longstanding security and clicky customer service. I will not spend my money here and I will always champion Tesco Lewisham who has retained its standard and is a bloody nice experience compared to the diabolical experience everyone at Old Kent Road superstore. It is not super it is the armpits of hell, and shows no signs of improvement.
Tesco OKR what can I say its horrible not been in just under a year most staff members are rude as hell!! No wouder some have moved to lewisham tesco MUCH MUCH BETTER than OKR one I love lewisham tesco 5 out of 5 stars for lewisham one. But Yvette in OKR is lovely
