This small restaurant in Lambeth is cozy, staff are friendly and efficient, food is delicious down-home cooking, with generous portions. We enjoyed our breakfast special which included 2 eggs, ham, bacon or sausage homefries and toast. Coffee is extra but the overall price was very reasonable! We will definitely return soon. :Food: 5/5
We loved our breakfast! I had blueberry pancakes with bacon, the pancakes were light and fluffy and full of fresh blueberries. It has been a long time since I had great pancakes. My friend had the veggie skillet and really enjoyed it. Coffee was good and this place has a cozy and comfortable feel as it is an older establishment which I do enjoy. Prices are very reasonable too. Great hours for early morning. Will be back Parking: A few spaces
The quality of the food was looking okay. But the taste was not upto the standard. Firstly the server made mistake of not giving what we asked for. And we accepted whatever was given. Secondly the taste was really not good. The home fries made of the potatoes with seasoning was smelling weird oil and tasted weird too. Also the Cafe was so busy that the server didn't gave us the coffee refills until our breakfast was over. The turkey sausage we ordered were really really dry. Also the toast should have been given with some peanut butter or honey. But we were only given jam. We didn't ask the server because we thought they didn't have any. I don't know was it because we were the only "non white family" in there ? All in all it was okay experience. The food could really use some upgrades.
Not a bad spot. I think for the cost, this place is great. You can get a burger combo for the same price as what you'd pay at A&W, but actually get a real burger. Food was tasty and came out without a very long wait. It's a bit dated on the inside, which has a bit of a charm to it but at the same time also generally feels 'old'. Worth a try if you're looking for something good, affordable, with a bit of nostalgia.
By far, the best breakfast in the 519 area! The food is amazing, the place is cozy and they always make you feel welcome! Heart warming place! BTW, if you have the chance, chat with other customers, there are always awesome people to get to know ;

We had breakfast here this morning. It was really good! The restaurant was quite busy but they were still on time and we had no issues with the service. Food was good as well! It’s a nice breakfast for a reasonable price. I got the two egg special with bacon. It comes with eggs, home fries and your choice of protein I got 3 bacons but you can get sausage or ham instead I believe. Home fries are delicious btw! Overall good experience!
This is one of the best restaurants going anywhere in any town. Their eggs benedict is legendary and the other breakfast they serve there are excellent as well. They are following covid guidelines and the restaurant is very clean. The bathrooms are clean as well. The ambience and the environment of the restaurant is very good. Staff there are polite and courteous and very helpful. The dinners are great there as well.
Food - 3/5 Service - 4/5 Ambiance - 3/5 Price - Moderate Ordered eggs benedict, chocolate chip pancake, blueberry pancake, grilled cheese sandwich and some coffee. The coffee was not great, sandwich wasn't great. Eggs benedict were good but I have had better at other breakfast places. Overall, it's not great food, but it's okay once in sometimes, as it isn't that bad too.
Food was really awesome and the waitress was excellent. But the management is not yet comfortable with all race. I hope I was white too while talking to him no offence. But nice ambience and good friendly service with delicious food. The way owner acts is like the owner of Mac'D but it's still just a one person owned local store. If he was cool and friendly then it would have been a 5 star instead of 2. Good luck going their. Gotta be milk color or if you a brown coffee or black this place is a hell. Sorry just trying to be real
