Nice country pub, small and cosy. Serve spitfire lager which is always a plus. Didn’t really look about but serve food I believe, outside seating, comfy arm chairs inside, darts board
Lovely old pub in the middle of a teensy village. Lots of locals, and occasional semi-locals staying at the House. Lovely beer and pleasant surroundings.Service: 5/5
Beautiful pub, good prices, food was very nice chicken burger was seriously tasty and and very welcoming bar person/waitress. Eton mess dessert could be a little larger for the price but that's less of a complaint and more of a greedy request! Will definitely return as would like to try Sunday roast here.
A wonderful traditional country pub with friendly staff. A great place for a tasty meal and a cheeky white wine spritzer!
My favourite local pub, good for a nice quiet drink after work
Lovely pub, you are assured of a friendly welcome, the guest ales are good very important
Walking on a beautiful day, Wingham to Goodnestone, we were pleased to find this gem of a pub/eatery with its large pub garden and pretty B&B rooms open from noon. So pretty inside - obviously nearing completion of its refurbishment, it really is a delight and the team SO welcoming too! The loos are next for ‘the treatment’ apparently and clearly the ladies tho pretty, were in need of an update, and the gents too by all accounts. But we’re really looking forward to sampling lunch with friends - just a smashing find!
Great pub in a picturesque village. Well worth a visit. We had a round of delicious sandwiches sat in the pub garden after a lovely walk over from the Embers Knowlton campsite.
The Fitzwalter Arms has recently been refurbished and under new management. Staff are exceptionally welcoming. A fantastic menu with reasonable prices, what more could you want! Thanks for a great experience
A typical Country Pub, recently taken over by new owners. The food I understand, is very good. Goodnestone is a very nice place for walks too.
