Use to be my favourite pub on Isle of Wight. Been a couple of changes to owners/management in recent years. Now I would not visit again. One excellent menu choice, beer & service. Not anymore, so sad

Had a pleasant lunch here on a rainy afternoon. Fish and chips were great and the local beers was good. Vegi options were pretty limited on the lunch menu but the onion rings were the best we had ever tasted!

Good selection of beers, and a great place to have a refreshing pint after a day on the beach! Had a really good meal here too - but be prepared to wait for a table outside when the weather's nice!

Lovely setting on the beach. Unfortunately the outside chairs were 'sticky' apparently painted with the wrong paint, although it was dry they were not very nice to sit on in the hot sun. These were awaiting a re-coat. Good food and beer.

Cosy pub with friendly service. Food is good quality but over priced with a baked potato and beans costing about a tenner. It is to date the most expensive place that I have bought a lime and soda water.
