Loads of facilities, bigger halls perfect for indoor sports. Only problem is reception staff... you can't get through to them... you probably will on 30 phone call.... not sure if they're busy or something else going on... for last couple of years I have noticed the same issue. Also been told they have increased price... how would you encourage someone to pay more to join... govt Leisure and sports centres are not to make money it is for those who want a better price and can't afford expensive place.
We went for the Saturday morning swim as a family, the pool area has seen better days and the whole area was freezing. I wasn't impressed by just how much of the pool was taken up by lessons. It made it very difficult to help my son swim without his armbands. I would recommend other local pools over this one!
Came for a cat show. Could have done with more parking, but venue was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff and a very good cafe again with excellent staff. Our cats enjoyed it too.....but they'd ask that they sort out the PA as it hurt their ears!
Joined Fenton Manor last week and went swimming today booked in for aqua aerobics tomorrow evening. The app is easy to use to book classes. Went in the jacuzzi afterwards and steam room nice relaxed environment. Only criticism don't go on a Sunday afternoon too many people and children. The 3 lanes that are used for lengths only were busy too today but managed to do what I wanted to do. Will go at quieter times in future.
Decent size sports centre. Has cafe. Big enough carpark for the gymnastics competition we went to, only downside is it's pay and display. £1.50 for 3 hrs.
This place as lots of classes different hobbies. They play badminton football basketball I have karate swimming and much much more sports activities for all kids and adults to enjoy. It also has wheelchair access really good place to go and have some fun with friends and family.
Not been for a while, lots of new modern equipment and as usual super friendly staff.
My kids have weekly swimming lessons here. The facilities are good and the instructors are excellent - would definitely recommend!
Went for gymnastics. Super big so great venue for spectators. Just make sure you get there early for the car park spaces if it's a big event day.
Easy to find, plenty of room and comfy seats in the arena. I've been there twice to watch my daughter compete in gymnastics competitions!
