Fairly disappointed the venue looked nice but took ages to get served and the food was mediocre. Prices were about average. Drinks were not that great we ordered cocktails 2 for £11 and literally tasted like pop no alcohol at all. Sadly would not plan to visit again unless I was hungry and in the area.
We decided to drop in for lunch and was allowed to sit at any table that hadn't a reservation. Staff were all pleasant and provided a quick service with a smile. I'm following slimming world, so selected jacket potato with cheese and beans, which came with a salad. Staff accommodated my requests by putting the cheese on the side in order that I could choose the amount I wanted, no butter on my potato, and no salad dressing. The salad was amazing: not like some pubs where there is a token slice of tomato, cucumber, and limp lettuce... it was an array of colour, texture and flavour! Would definitely recommend. This salad is on the menu as a 'side' too, so you could have this with any other meal
The food here is amazing, we came with a big party of 12 and everyone was able to choose something off the menu. Georgia as attentive all night and kept offering more drinks and even shots towards the end. The baby Guinness were lovely. Would definitely recommendFood: 5/5
This is a fabulous place to visit with friends or family. The staff are excellent and friendly. I'd like to point out Georgia G in particular for her excellent service when I visited with family. She made us feel welcomed and made the atmosphere amazing. The food was excellent and could not fault anything.Food: 5/5
Clear plates all round, the Sunday lunch was excellent. All food and drink preferences were available. Restaurant was understandably busy but service was efficient. Our server Nicola was attentive with a bubbly personality. Excellent experience.Food: 5/5
A lovely pub serving up the classics to an excellent standard. We enjoyed it all, but the stars of the show were the chicken burger and the mac & cheese. The chicken gravy that comes with the burger was so good that when we visited again we asked for 2 portions. We’ve visited another pub in the chain loads because it’s opposite work, but the execution of the menu here is a million times better. Compliments to the chef and kitchen team. The staff were so lovely and the place is really inviting. There’s a great play area for the kids too. We had 2 mains, 2 starters/small plates and 2 large soft drinks for just under £50.
Went for a late Sunday lunch and missed out on the roast chichen they'd ran out, so opted for the large hand battered fish n chips instead. We'll, it was massive and extremely tasty. Add to that the really pleasant service and friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely dine here when I'm back in the area.Food: 5/5
Lovely visit and I only came across having taken a detour home and better still, it’s almost right on my door step. I believe the restaurant has recently been refurbished and I found it to be pleasant. Plenty of parking, clean interior, beer garden, an easy online booking facility and classic pub food Staff were friendly, service was prompt although it was a quieter time when we visited so could not offer comment at busier times. Would definitely visit again and more than likely more regularly now after first experience.
Can not fault. Food was great. Special mention to our server Courtney who was very friendly and accommodating. Our special request for our meal was no problem at all. Courtney is a true credit to the establishment! Will be telling all my friends and family and will be back!!!Food: 5/5
Group of 10. Asked for fries, got chunky chips, and steak was not what was ordered. Those who ordered the Sunday dinner were very happy. Service was excellent with such a large table. No loud music, which enables you to have a conversation.Food: 3/5
