The decor was outstanding. Served by a young lady called Willow, great attitude and service with a smile and a chat. We ate upstairs on the balcony that looked over the bar downstairs. The wall art is cheeky and clever at the same time. The BBQ chicken melt was filling, and the portion of salad large with a tasty dressing dip. After food, we had drinks outside, which was different from any other Wetherspoons I have been in. Toilets were clean with soap in all and fresh smelling. A small carpark to the rear, possibly 5 spaces. Loved the Bottle of Sack, we will return.
3 for £14.93 nachos, bbq chicken pizza and chicken strips. You get good value definitely. Only problem is the pizza is more of a pitta bread than pizza dough. Avoid the mens toilets at all costs they stink of stale piss. I had to hold my breath when using them it was that disgusting.
The Bottle of Sack in Sutton Coldfield offers a superb dining experience. The ambiance is a bit intense at times due to some inebriated individuals that like to go over the limit, but they accompany with great quality meals. Their menu features a delightful array of dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed their perfectly cooked steak and the rich, flavorful sauces that accompanied it. The drink selection is impressive, with a great variety of wines and craft beers.
A very nice pub with a great atmosphere , sells really good food , a nice pint fair priced aswell . Easy access for the disabled . Worth a visit .Food: 5/5
Nice easy going place. No car park. But side roads and car park by b&m close enough. As always when I go to Any weatherspoons I check out breakfast. Still say boldmere the winner as beans where cold. But still very yummy. Will say ladies facilities where amazing. High end. If you are a smoker you will love their out door area. Wheel chair access. And off course there amazing hot chocolate
The food is usually tasty here but always has problems with the temperature of the food. I always have fish and chips but the curry sauce or the chips are so cold. It's a shame as the food is tasty. Alot of the time the staff are run off their feet and doesn't always seem enough running staff so maybe thats why food is cold.
Closed the bar 10 mins early. Called last orders at 23:45, went up for a a half and was told “we’ve closed the bar, we called last orders at 23:30 and closed the bar at 23:45” I know this is rubbish as I looked at my phone when they rang the bell. Also why advertise that your open til 00:00 if your not? I was meeting a mate tonight but my local spoons stays open til 00:00 no matter how little customers are in as they advertise that they are open till 00:00. Let yourselves down here
Lovely food and good service. Although we did have to ask to have our plates to be removed. That said, we enjoyed our experience.
3 of us went for lunch. Instead of lemonade, my daughter was given soda water which was replaced later. The ale i had chosen had run out. My daughters desert had a caramel sauce added as the chocolate sauce had run out, she wasn't asked if that was an acceptable replacement. Unfortunately she does not like the caramel sauce so a replacement was given without any sauce. The major complaint would be about a very loud group of middle aged women, where every other word was the 'F-Bomb', On a outdoor terrace on a Saturday afternoon, where there were many families with young children, this is not acceptable & i felt that a member of staff should have asked them to tone down their bad language.
If I could give no stars I would. I've now recieved food poisoning twice from eating here...most recently yesterday as it being the only thing I had eaten before getting poorly. Now I won't be able to go on holiday because I'm ill.Food: 1/5
