Story

Express Music is an independent music store with shops in Shirley and Coventry, aimed at bringing you great products online as well as instore.

We also buy, sell and trade pre owned instruments, fx and amplifiers

In addition to our retail stores we also have an award winning tuition centre based at our Shirley store. We have been running acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, piano and drum lessons for over 2 decades and proudly have 100% pass rate from all exam boards.

Wow. What a fabulous experience. Went here with my non guitar playing son to buy an electric guitar. Rang for appointment, very pleasant lady answered and booked us in. Arrived, and welcomed by friendly staff who ushered us through to main showroom. Met by really professional young man who went through all manner of options and played all the guitars so we could here them all, passed on so much knowledge that I left feeling like I was an expert myself. My son left with a fantastic guitar and amp and also some extras thrown in . Would recommend this business to anyone. Genuine enthusiasm for your job shines through. Thank you

I've been buying my guitars and accessories from express music for many years, now my daughter is old enough to play we took her to their new premise to buy her first acoustic. Service is brilliant, just wish they wernt now so far away.
Went in to buy my first electric guitar, amp and gig bag. The man was very informative considering I didn't have too much knowledge on what I was buying, and helped out with anything I could need. He also threw in some cables that I needed for free. Brilliant place, no problems, 100% recommend.
Really friendly and helpful staff. We booked an appointment for our son to buy an electric guitar. When we arrived we were shown various guitars and it was explained about the different pick up settings, then our son was left to try various ones to make his choice. No pressure as to the choice and we came away very satisfied customers Thank You.
Just bought a Custom Shop Statocaster. A lovely experience: friendly and knowledgeable staff made for a pleasurable, non-pressured, environment in which to explore and decide.
Outstanding service. I popped in to purchase guitars but staff suggested, as I really don't know much that I make an appointment for my daughter to try out the intended guitar and several others first. Once at this appointment they were exceptionally helpful yet again and made us feel very comfortable to ask questions and try things out. Definitely recommended.
