Had our move me closer car moved to dartford car store. George was fantastic. Very very helpful knew his job and made us feel welcome. Made buying a car very easy. His team were very good also. Thank you very much!

I contacted them online and they gave me an estimated value of £1485 for my car, which I was happy with. I went to the appointment that I made with them and after they looked all over my car they offered me £500!!! Can't tell you how annoyed I was. Absolutely disgraceful, how can you go from £1485 to £500. Would never use this company again. Beware not to be fooled by these crooks!

I read a lot of bad reviews about Evans halshaw but me being very naive thought it would never happen to me, but I was obviously wrong. I paid £200 to have a car moved closer from the Chester branch to the dartford branch, I was told it will take a maximum of 4-10 days. I got a call a few days later to confirm its all gone through. 10 days went by didn't get a call to tell me it was there or what was happening so I called and got put on hold and hung up on a numerous amount to times, and when I did finally get though all I got told was it's not here yet and they weren't able to find it where it was. This went on for a few weeks. 3 weeks later I spoke to George and he called Chester to find out where the car was, (they should have done that ages ago) and turns out the car was still in Chester and he had made different arrangements to have it moved, I got told it will be there in 3 days. I called back 3 days later (Friday) still no car and it was still in Chester in the workshop being 'checked over' and was told it will be there Tuesday. I called Tuesday and still no car, called Wednesday again no car. I called Thursday, and got told the car was still in Chester because a turbo had blown, surely they would have known this before? However he said I can wait for the car or I Can have an immediate refund of my £200. I asked for my money back and was then told it will take 48hours, anyway long story short It took 4 weeks and a few phone calls to get my money back. Would never use them again and would not recommend them!

I bought my Mercedes CLA from Evans Halshaw in Dartford. I was the first appointment of the day and was really impressed with the service from George, the manager. The place got business very quickly and there is not much room when people arrive as space was already tight with all the cars. I get the impression that the majority are selling their cars, and seemed as I was buying I was prioritised. The test drive was good, and purchase went smoothly. Unfortunately there was no V5 log book, so George completed the form to register in my name with the post office and get taxed, and fueled the car as compensation. Really happy with the whole experience.
