Ensign Ewart

Lovely ambience, staff were lovely and when a better table was available asked if we would like to move. Limited menu as only a small kitchen but all our food was lovely even though it was served as soon as it was ready which meant we weren't all served together but they did warn this would happen. Would recommend

Good service. Great food. Comfortable pub atmosphere. Server recommended excellent gin & tonic combo. My husband and I split the soup and sandwich lunch because we are not big eaters. Table of 6, and everyone was very happy!

Service was slow but the pizza was one of the best pizzas I can remember having. The ale went down easily too! I'd give it 4.5* due to the wait, but really enjoyed eating here. Cheers :

Lovely little pub. Mostly serving pizzas due to Covid. Organised handling of social distancing. Helpful staff. We enjoyed our pizzas and sticky toffee puddings.

Great pub with a great atmosphere, Scottish live music and absolutely delicious food. On top of that the waitress is really attentive and friendly!

The Ensign Ewart! My absolute favorite place to be in Edinburgh! Awesome staff, a great variety of Beers and Whisky, definetly ask about their hot nips or brake even bottles!!!! And live music every evening of the week!!! Even the food there is really tasty, what could you ask for more??? I love you Ensign Ewart!!!
