Came here after our engagement last year. We were treated exceptionally well and seated us in the one window looking at the castle during a light show. Gave us lots of food and drink to help us celebrate. The food itself was of very high quality and was an absolute treat to eat.  Thank you so much for making our night so special.

Chill our way in after our Edinburgh Castle tour. Has a nice ambiance and not a lot of customers. We went in the afternoon, so we just ordered the drinks for the "Happy Hour".  I recommend to try their oysters! Can't get enough! We ordered for a second round.

Ambiance perfect. Lovely attentive staff. A tasty introduction to haggis as a starter. Fish and chips tasty although it didn’t set my heart on fire. Worth a visit if in the Edinburgh castle area.

Nice good in lovely bar setting. Food well cooked and nicely presented. Service efficient and friendly.

For a romantic high quality food experience then this is a must. Fantastic fine food. Waiters very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. This place gave us the best cheeseboard we have had.

Great food and customer service, given a glass of water as soon as seated and great value for money lunch menu whilst having the castle in the background highly recommend
