As someone still quite new to the area, I’m glad I discovered Queen’s Hall. My theatre life here has officially started. nA lovely venue with surprisingly comfortable chairs — which really does make watching a performance even more enjoyable. Warm atmosphere, good organisation, and a place that already feels easy to return to.
Lovely building ,friendly staff. Sound very ckewr ,good view of stagennSeats in the balcony though were very uncomfortable. Everyone squashed together in the back rows and not enough leg room for tall peoplenOnly toilet was all the way downstairsnnDon't think we would book to come again
An absolutely lovely venue, very well maintained and decorated, with extremely helpful and friendly staff.nWe went to see the U2UK tribute band, and had a great time. The auditorium was a perfect size, with great seats and very good sound quality.
Small, multiple-use venue but good for all that. Attended the first event of the Hexham Book Festival andcam going back tomorrow for another talk.nnFingers crossed the second is as good as the first.
This is a beautiful building, it has the library in and a lovely little cafe with toilets and there is a nice little park straight across the road. I attended during the spook night for Halloween so there was lots of fair rides and activity going on I will definitely be attending more of the events there.
