I will recommend this hotel highly. A very nice and helpful staff at the reception and at the breakfast as well as in the restaurant made as this was our third visit at this hotel and we stayed in a very pleasant environment. Everyone in the hotel is very nice and friendly, this makes everything so easy.

We were booked here by our work shame they had booked for two nights because we would have been happy to leave after first night my sockets has a failed safety sticker on from 3/18 en suite that's a joke bathrooms are dirty and dusty and grime I have photos if I could post I would walls are stained and just dirty so good our company are putting them on the black list stay clear best thing next door has really good Wetherspoons

Although the reviews for the Elstree Inn have been very bad. We were pleased to see it wasn't as bad as thought. It is a bit of a rabbit warren, and long walks to the rooms. There are many stairs on different levels. You have to be able to walk as there is no lift. The staff were very helpful, and on the whole were very nice to us. It is a bit "rough and ready" but our room was clean, clean crisp sheets, and a clean en suite. The en suite although clean, the toilet seat was wobbly and the toilet didn't flush properly I think this is more of a bed & breakfast hotel.(without the breakfast) There is a "kitchen" of sorts, but it does have a microwave, so you can buy at Tesco and eat in your room. On the plus, if you are going to Elstree studios, it is a 4/5 min walk, which is a dream when you come out of the studios late at night. Can also recommend the Arch Restaurant opposite, they are open all day, and we had a fantastic meal there. On the whole I think it's a case of what room you get, as to how you view this hotel. Don't think it's value for money, if you don't need to be that close to Elstree Studios, stay somewhere else for not much more cost.

lets start with the cons...... its a s h * t hole. the room was filthy and stank of damp, the furniture was falling apart with a hole in the wardrobe door, item from previous guest still in wardrobe, shower and heating did not work and there was no wifi as stated. I have used cleaner toilets and showers at festivals! obviously left early and did not stay. Also i have a have noticed one of the 4star reviews has been left by a member of staff!! pros...... the ibis hotel is less than 5 mins walk away for when you realise this is a dive abd not worth the money avoid like the plague....or stay and catch it!
