Very clean and tidy campsite with warm welcomes from the hosts who are also a fountain of knowledge about the island. Really friendly place. From the site there is a pleasant walk to the beach with birds calling overhead and on the way back you can slip into the cafe for a cup of your favourite brew.

Lovely place, Great pitches, nice and dry. Facilities are also very good, cleaned 4 times a day and the owners are soo helpful.

We came late tonight to Stornoway and we was traveling up north trying to find place to camp... weather wasn’t great it was raining cold and dark and we realised that we won’t be able to camp outside . We have tried few places but they aren’t open yet at this time of year. Luckily we have been advised to ring the number of this camp,it was 9pm and this lovely lady told us to come to their camp ... grass is fairly wet but facilities are open so she ll see what she can do. She was very kind and caring ... helped us to find the place over the phone and when we got there she was right it’s not very sensible camping outside . She let us kindly use little kitchen room where we could put our sleeping bags in and even provided us with heater . We couldnt ask for more ... she went miles to help us . Thank god for this lovely owner ... luxury in time of need : thank you very much

Not expensive and good location. Helpful staff and you can use Downing Street as your toilet. There's a big room indoors with tables for who is camping and want to shelter from the rain while eating or cooking.
