We previously stayed here in September 2022 and it was top of our list of sites to visit when we returned to Scotland this time. The site is amazing. Shower and toilet block is kept scrupulously clean and was warm. Showers good. My partner, who's in charge of chemical waste, is so pleased with the facilities - own room with hot water and bleach available. Views are wonderful and both visits we've had a pitch on the front overlooking the sea. Lovely walks up into the hills for the dogs. Michelle who runs the shop is amazing and can't do enough for us - jubilee clip, battery when our van's went dead, adjustable spanner!! The pub at the top of the hill is run by the site's owners. We had dinner there one night and were treated to the most amazing langoustines. Had takeaway from there too and the food was just as good. Can't recommend enough.
We stayed here for 1 night whilst on our campervan trip and really enjoyed it. Friendly welcome, and the shop is well stocked with all the main bits and pieces. On greeting we were told about the local pub across the road for food, and the lady called for us to check availability. Although it was full we enjoyed some nice takeaway food that night. It's smaller campsite, but we ended up preferring this to others we had visited. Waking up right by the water made for some gorgeous views. The showers and toilets were very clean too so we would have no issues in visiting again!
A great campsite. The woman at reception is so lovely, friendly and helpful. Laundry was a nice bonus! Showers aren't the best, but can't complain. The pitches and views make up for it!! Note: the campsite is dog-friendly : The bar is not :
Lovely location and good washroom. Very friendly reception and excellent small shop. Walks and scenery galore + porpoises and kayaking. Pub and excellent restaurant 100 metres up the driveway. What more could you want? Unless you want shops and nightclubs?!?!
Stayed for 2 nights in our campervan. £31 per night with electric hook-up. Toilets and shower facilities with the showers being free. 20p for use of hairdryer if required although I did have to use 2 X 20p's for my long hair. Shop on-site with the basics required. Great spacing between vans. Dog friendly. Direct access to beach which was a mix of sand and pebbles/boulders at low tide. Good walks from site. Friendly staff.
Lovely site. Free WiFi, fantastic shop bought this mouse!. Showers are the kind where you have to press the button every 6 seconds, but clean and hot. Fridge, freezer, microwave and laundry all great, although the dryer took twice as long as it said worth the drive out!
This was not the campsite I was looking for but came across this instead. Fab views to the Summer Isles and great facilities. There's a wee shop which I didn't use so can't comment but a lovely spot worthy of a visit and it's open all year round!
Fab campsite overlooking the summer Isles. Friendly owner, showers, shop. Great for kids and family. Paddle boarding, kayacking. Not many midges around and got a great sunset. Defo coming back.
Came from ullapool to stay here for 2 nights. The drive is lovely, a wee bit hairy in places on the single track roads but plenty of passing places. We arrived booked in, lovely lady on reception very welcoming, we pitched up and enjoyed the scenery. Facilities are very good, shop on site very well stocked and the pub across the road served the most amazing meals, they have vegetarian options. All in all a really nice stay.
Great facilities. Warm showers and toilets are very clean. Very well stocked shop. Campsite surroundings are beautiful too. Maybe stating the obvious, but I would 100% advise taking a midgie net and repellant as its right on the water, and be prepared not to get a phone signal.
