Easirent Car Hire Belfast International Airport

Avoid at all costs. I booked a car in advance for my elderly father and was told on arrival that there were no cars available. He had to pay an extra £250 insurance if he wanted a car on the day even though he has an excess insurance for car hire that the salesperson refused, rudely to even look at while he waved a board in my face. A charge that was not made clear on the website. They told him they would drop him back at the airport if he didn't pay it. They refused to give a copy of the insurance paperwork to my father. They found a rather badly scratched Mercedes and made out he was doing my father a favour. They also charged £95 for diesel and told him they would charge £3 a litre if the car was not filled back up. When a price looks to good to be true it probably isn't. (Wanted to give no stars but it won't let you post without at least 1. )

Con artists. Gave our booking away as flight was half hour late, then charged us 3 times the price for another one. They’re not at the airport so they drive you miles away to their site before sorting out the paperwork and then they hit you for insurance as well, we ended up paying £170 for a car that was booked for £48 but had no choice as we were stuck, and they knew it. Just pay extra in the first place with a reputable firm and save yourself a load of time, hassle and money.

Easirent Car Hire Belfast International Airport Karl Business Park, 92 Old Ballyrobin Rd, Antrim BT41 4TJ Car rental company PLACE DETAILS Avoid Easirent at all costs! They do not keep the ‘condition reports’ of their vehicles up to date therefore you could end up being liable for the damage of a previous customer! I had to pay out for damage to a vehicle this week in Belfast which they were convinced wasn’t on the vehicle previously even though I had pointed out at least 4 scratches when taking out the vehicle that they hadn’t even noticed. They seem to operate under the policy ‘The company is always right and the customer is always wrong’. If you want peace of mind during your rental then use a more reputable car rental company. 1 year later I'm still waiting to hear from Customer services!!

Avoid using Easirent Belfast at all costs. They will give you the hard sell for their vastly overpriced insurance. If you don't accept it, then they will find some "damage" to the car. £170 for a tiny scuff - including a £75 admin charge for doing absolutely nothing. The manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. Avoid these con men!!

Great service from the depot nearest to Belfast airport. Had no problems with car and got some good help with directions back to depot to drop car off.. Shuttle to airport around 5 minutes.
