THE BEST live bar music I’ve heard in a long while. I’m not sure if I was just lucky enough to happen upon a live music night, or if it’s a regular occurrence, but what a good time.
A pub with a very friendly atmosphere in which I felt most welcome as a visitor to Wareham. The beer was excellent and high quality is obviously a priority of the landlord.
It is an old-fashioned pub like others say but it's pretty grotty and hygiene is questionable. Quite dark and very, very dated with stained carpets and sticky tables. Came out feeling like I needed to wash my hands. Toilets are outside and generally seemed clean but very basic. Breakfast was good value though, sort of school-canteen quality but in a good way coffee is straight out of an automatic machine though and the staff member serving us was friendly and accommodating.
Really Friendly, fantastic atmosphere, lovely staff, great Sunday lunch. A real gem of a pub. 10/10
Ery friendly welcome and service. Arrived just in time to order food and we enjoyed every mouthful. Excellent presentation and flavourful. Even the side salad was varied, not just the usual lettuce, cucumber and tomato! Good range of beers on and we enjoyed what was recommended to us. There is a beer garden also.We highly recommend a visit here.
Great Sunday lunch full of locals. Friendly helpful staff. I'm planning to go again and again.
Lovely atmosphere and well priced food. Well behaved dogs welcome too .
Food is alright! Inexpensive..locals are nice and the people are friendly!Service: 5/5
Nice pub with a small but adequate garden. Sensibly priced decent beer. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food.
Great selection of beers and friendly staff. Good food too.
