The clientele are welcoming so too the landlord. The atmosphere generally very good If entertainment is your thing well , they do have a gambling machine & a jukebox didn't try the gambling machine But did try the jukebox Only 8 tracks per £2 also the jukebox is a little oldfationed I had to really stab at the pannle in order to select the track you want don't look for cashback you won't get it Overall though a pleasant experience.
Not far from St Ives Bay Holiday Park. I'd describe it best as a local pub that does food. The service was spot on , portion sizes were large, the quality was excellent and the prices were perfect. Was great to have a beer and a meal at normal prices and not the massively inflated tourist prices we paid all week. If we found this pub at the beginning of the week we would have definitely come back and ordered the pizzas for collection. Great place.
Best bangers and mash, all the food was brilliant, great service, highly recommend. Good for families, good selection in the kids menu as well.
Very good and food came hot did absolutely fantastic serving all 17 of us at the same time food was delicious
Biggest Sunday lunch we have ever had and great tasting.. Great proprietors and spotlessly clean everywhere.
Friendly staff & patrons. Small car park, but clean & disabled safe. Easy access from car park and main front door. The landlord was chatty. Will be returning for dinner there next week.
Good service however the food was poor quality and not very appealing to look at or eat. The pizza looked and tasted horrible. Bit of a shame as had heard good reports. Won’t return and don’t recommend for food. Bar was ok but the pub is full of locals and when you walk in ‘ the tumbleweed ........ ‘ and we are locals !!
A little gem of a pub. Friendly staff, great selection of drinks as well as food. Fabulous locals who welcome you like an old friend. Definitely worth a visit.
