honestly for an average pub the food was great, i’d love to come back even though it’s quite the distance. couldn’t fault it if i tried. we went just for a quick meal but left very pleased as our expectations were much lower.
Came here on a Sunday. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Pub had a very warm atmosphere and staff were really nice. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again
Came today, the pub has a cute, warm atmosphere. Curtis was our barman and was very friendly and accomodating. The decorations were very fitting for the surroundings and made the place feel even more cosy. The food had big portions pictured is the monster burger even the regular burgers had plenty on them. Served on wooden boards the burgers came with salad drizzled with dressing, a corn on the cob and skinny fries. We had onions rings and even these were seasoned just right. I find some homemade onion rings can lack flavour, this was not the case here. They had a small Christmas menu including a Christmas burger which had brie, cranberry and stuffing. Nothing better with a rattler to get you into the spirit.
Good food pleasant atmosphere friendly staff
Nice and tidy in the bar .beer was good .but really cold could only stay for a couple had too go home to warm up . wife complained the ladies toilets were in need of updating door wouldn't lock water leaking from cistern. it's a shame small things can ruin your visit
Unfortunately I can't give a bigger star than this. We came in for a valentines night meal and we were very disappointed. My husband had the chicken burger and I had the steak burger meal, we literally struggled to eat the burger as the bun just fell to bits, it was so dry that it was almost stale. Nobody asked us if everything was OK with the meal. Quite disappointed to be honest and I would have flagged this up if anybody would have actually checked that everything was OK. What makes it worse is that the pub was almost empty so there was no reason that somebody couldn't have come to our table to check everything was OK. Really poor customer service. We have eaten here on numerous occasions as we are local but tonight they got it wrong
After an uplift during lockdown I'm so pleased that the Copperhouse has kept all of its character, and looks great. Service is fab, food is good pretty standard pub food, but have enjoyed everything I've had so far! and the atmosphere is lovely. If you're in town, definitely give it a look in!!
Our 1st night in Hayle & found this pub Food was lovely. Welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend
Lots of swearing from one loud man.. he ruined the football i was watching with my parents.. my mum constantly moaned about the f word be used every other word very loudly.. i know its a pub, but not so loud with others who want to enjoy the place to.
We went to the Copperhouse Inn on a Monday lunch time looking for some lunch. We walked in, there was 6 people in the place, the woman behind the bar did not acknowledge us at all. We walked to the left where it looked like she was pouring a pint, still NO acknowledgment of us. As living in Hayle for 50 years I won't be going back. If you cannot acknowledge a person coming into you establishment, then in my view they don't want the custom. Such a shame.
